Yes there have been many cars over the years with random jargony decals on them. But this VVT-i DOHC decal looks uncannily similar to the Civic Si's i-VTEC DOHC decals.

the AE111's were grey imports, not sure about the AE101 hatchback though. The owner said it was brought over by Toyota and I couldn't seen an import plate, but I've haven't seen any on the road since.
